Reno Roustabout

Reno grew up in Treehollow, and has enjoyed a peaceful upbringing with his three parents, Heidi, Juniper, and Oliver. As a dock worker, Reno has always longed for adventure, but those dreams are at odds with his love of his supportive, stable life with his family and friends. In a town full of orphans and troubled homes, Reno sometimes harbors secret guilt for his own happy and stable family, but he always tries to brighten other creatures' day with his peppy and positive optimism.

Reno is a bit of a meathead, regularly playing football and ringdinger when not working at the docks. Unlike his friends, Reno has not chosen an apprenticeship, as he still holds out hope that one day he'll go on an adventure on one of the ships that passes through. Still, he picks up a lot of stories from travellers, and happily shares them with his best friend Wanderer, who is always eager for more worldly knowledge to write down as a Scholar.
